Lakeshore College’s Truck Driving Program prepares students to meet federal Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements and to test for a Commercial Driver License (CDL) in the state of Wisconsin. However, the college does not guarantee its curriculum meets all requirements for licensure, testing, or employment in other states.

Operate heavy trucks and tractor-trailers to transport goods safely and efficiently over short or long distances. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading cargo, inspecting vehicles, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and complying with all federal and state transportation regulations. This role requires strong attention to safety, time management, and the ability to navigate varying road and weather conditions while ensuring timely deliveries.
