The Dental Assisting program is currently accepting applications for fall and spring semesters. We encourage you to consider applying and talking to a counselor.
After only one term, Lakeshore’s Dental Assisting graduates are eligible to apply for two sections of the Dental Assistant National Board Exam.
Why Consider a Dental Assisting Degree?
- Dentists need trained staff to prepare patients undergoing routine and emergency dental procedures.

- In addition to sterilizing and setting up instruments, monitoring supply inventories, gathering and recording information, you may explain technical information to patients.
- You will gain experience using medical software and equipment needed for many activities.
