Join us for a day packed with hands-on activities relating to the wide variety of essential careers available in the high-tech world of manufacturing!
Registration: This event is free to attend, but registration is required. The registration deadline is one week before the event date. Maximum of 100 spots available.
Important: Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required. All attendees must register online and complete an event release form. Participants under age 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the release form and return the completed form to Lakeshore. Lunch will be provided, and each participant will also receive a T-shirt.

What To Expect
Manufacturing Rocks is a hands-on career exploration event designed to introduce high school students to the exciting world of modern manufacturing. Students will take part in interactive activities, explore advanced technology and equipment, and learn about the wide range of high-demand careers available in the manufacturing industry, including the agriculture field.
Throughout the day, students will connect what they experience to real career pathways in areas such as automation, machining, welding, engineering, maintenance, and more. The event gives students an opportunity to see firsthand how creativity, problem-solving, technology, and skilled trades come together in today’s manufacturing careers.
