Stephanie Mireles Chosen as Student Ambassador

Lakeshore College student Stephanie Mireles has been selected to represent the college as its 2025-26 Wisconsin Technical College System Student Ambassador.

Lakeshore’s student ambassador promotes Lakeshore on campus, in the community, among legislators, and at Wisconsin Technical College System events. A $1,250 scholarship is also awarded to the student selected annually for the role, considered one of the most competitive leadership opportunities at the college.

Mireles, a digital marketing student, is president of Lakeshore’s Student Leadership Board and a member of TRIO Support Services, a program offering a variety of services geared to first-generation and lower-income students as well as students who are disabled. In addition, Mireles works in the college’s StudentSHARE office, where students can access free food, clothing, and personal care items.

“We are incredibly proud of Stephanie for being selected as Lakeshore’s 2025-26 Student Ambassador. This honor recognizes not only her leadership and dedication to learning, but also the vital role our students play in representing Lakeshore’s mission on campus, in the community, and across Wisconsin,” said Lakeshore President Dr. Paul Carlsen.
