Lakeshore College is proud to announce that paralegal student Kendra Klein has been named a recipient of the 2025–26 Student Scholarship from the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin (PAW).
The competitive scholarship recognizes scholastic excellence, leadership, active participation in campus and paralegal program activities, community service, and the submission of a strong writing sample. Demonstrated financial need may also be considered as part of the selection process.
Klein has distinguished herself as a leader within Lakeshore’s Legal Studies/Paralegal program. She has served as President of the Paralegal Student Association for the past two years, demonstrating commitment to her peers and to the profession. In addition to her academic achievements, Klein currently works at Rhode Dales in Sheboygan, where she continues to gain valuable hands-on legal experience.
Following graduation from Lakeshore College, Klein plans to continue her education at Marquette University beginning in Fall 2026.
“Kendra exemplifies the excellence, professionalism, and leadership we strive to cultivate in our students,” said Donna Meiselwitz, Legal Studies - Paralegal Program coordinator/instructor at Lakeshore College. “Her dedication to her studies, peers, and the legal field makes us incredibly proud.”
Klein’s recognition continues a strong tradition of success for Lakeshore College paralegal students. Three of the past five PAW Student Scholarship recipients have come from Lakeshore, including Melissa Garcia (2022) and Mackenzie Johnson (2023). Their accomplishments reflect the Legal Studies/Paralegal program’s longstanding commitment to preparing highly skilled legal professionals who serve and strengthen the local community.
