OSHA 10 General Industry
Build a strong foundation in workplace safety with OSHA 10 General Industry training. Designed primarily for entry-level workers, this course introduces participants to common workplace safety and health hazards and provides practical knowledge for recognizing, avoiding, and preventing hazards in general industry environments.
Participants will also learn about worker rights, employer responsibilities, and the role OSHA plays in promoting safe and healthy workplaces. Upon successful completion of the 10-hour training, participants will receive a Department of Labor card.

Learning Outcomes
- Recognize common safety and health hazards found in general industry workplaces.
- Identify methods for avoiding, controlling, and preventing workplace hazards.
- Explain employee rights and employer responsibilities under OSHA.
- Recognize the importance of hazard communication and personal protective equipment.
- Identify basic safety considerations related to walking-working surfaces, electrical hazards, machine guarding, and material handling.
- Understand the role of workplace safety and health programs in preventing injuries and illnesses.
- Apply basic hazard-recognition principles to everyday workplace situations.
