Confined Space Rescue
This hands-on seminar prepares participants to respond safely and effectively to emergencies involving confined spaces. The course covers both non-entry and entry rescue procedures, with an emphasis on hazard recognition, rescue planning, equipment selection, and safe patient retrieval.
Participants will work with equipment and techniques commonly used during confined space rescue operations and apply those skills through practical exercises designed to simulate real-world rescue situations.

- Evaluate confined space hazards and conduct basic risk assessments before beginning rescue operations.
- Differentiate between non-entry and entry rescue methods and determine when each may be appropriate.
- Select and use appropriate rescue equipment and respiratory protection.
- Perform atmospheric testing and interpret air-monitoring results during rescue operations.
- Apply proper techniques for patient assessment, packaging, and retrieval from a confined space.
- Explain command, communication, and coordination responsibilities during a confined space rescue.
- Apply confined space rescue procedures during hands-on training scenarios.
Requirements
*Complettion of Confined Space Entrant/Attendant/Supervisors (EAS) is Required.
