This quote reflects Amy’s core philosophy as an HR professional and educator. Human resources touches every stage of the employee lifecycle — and Amy is passionate about making each step meaningful. Her goal is to help build HR professionals who will shape workplaces to cultures where employees feel challenged, supported, and engaged.

Experience

Before joining Lakeshore as a full-time instructor, Amy gained over 15 years of domestic and international experience in human resources, training, and organizational and leadership development with global companies. Her areas of expertise include talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.

Amy holds both the PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional) credentials. Additionally, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh and a Master of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College.
