Annual Ag Discovery Day

Join us for Ag Discovery Day

The 4th Annual Ag Discovery Day, recommended for ages 9 and older, is an inclusive, educational event designed for individuals interested in animal agriculture. This immersive experience introduces participants to the fundamentals of young livestock care through hands-on workshops, expert-led instruction, and team-based problem solving.

During the workshop, participants will work in small teams guided by agriculture industry professionals—including veterinarians, farmers, and ag educators, rotating through interactive learning stations. Topics will include conducting physical exams, diagnosing common illnesses, colostrum management, newborn care, and birthing management. The morning concludes with a team competition where participants showcase what they’ve learned, followed by lunch and prizes.

This event blends education, enrichment, and fun, making agriculture approachable, practical, and exciting for all experience levels.
