Industrial Electrician Apprenticeship
The Industrial Electrician Apprenticeship is an employer-sponsored, hands-on training program that prepares you to become a skiled journey-level industrial eelctrician. You'll learn how to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems that keep manufacturing and other industrial operations running safely and efficiently. Through a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction, you'll build practical electrical skills while gaining real-world experience.

Who pays for the apprenticeship?
Apprenticeship tuition may be paid by the employer or the apprentice. Payment responsibility is determined by the terms of the apprenticeship contract with the sponsoring employer.

How Do I Apply for the Industrial Electrician Apprenticeship?
Step 1
Find a Sponsoring Employer
You must have a sponsoring employer before you can receive an apprenticeship contract or begin related instruction at Lakeshore.
Talk with your employer about your interest in becoming an industrial electrician apprentice. Your employer will then work with the local Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards Apprenticeship Training Representative (ATR) to begin the process.

Step 2
Complete the Apprenticeship Contract
You, your sponsoring employer, and the Apprenticeship Training Representative will work together to establish the requirements and details of your apprenticeship contract.
Step 3
Receive Your Contract and Begin Classes
Once all requirements are complete, you will receive a Wisconsin Apprentice Contract and be invited to begin your related instruction at Lakeshore College.
